December 2007- New Focus Group Facilities Come Online -
EurekaFacts opens new focus group facilities in Rockville, Maryland. The fully equipped facilities include a focus group room, small group and one-on-one cognitive interviewing rooms. Key features include high speed wireless internet, digital audio and video recording capabilities, observation areas and a comfortable client lounge. Located on Rockville, Pike, minutes from the Beltway and I270, the facility is now the most convenient location in the DC area.

November 2007-New Hispanic Market Segmentation System -
EurekaFacts is now developing a new geo-demographic segmentation system to assist in the classification and targeting of Latinos in the US for offers, services and public education campaigns. The segmentation data will offer decision makers and marketers a new view that supports targeting of Latinos according to the various geo-demographic clusters that make this population. The diverse cultures, language preferences, and other differences within the Latino population have made this heterogeneous market hard to understand until now. More than 40 million Hispanics now live in the US, making it the largest minority in the country and the fastest growing segment of the population. The study now underway is still accepting sponsors interested in including questions in the national survey.

November 2007- Travelers of the World - -
EurekaFacts is now completing studies of young travelers, volunteers and members sponsored by Hostelling International. The large scale online surveys follow qualitative exploration in focus groups and in-depth interviews conducted nationwide. The resulting information will help HI-USA formulate its path to support strategic and tactical improvements that engage greater numbers of individuals in the Hostelling movement, and encourage more individuals to travel , volunteer and join the organization.

November 2007- New Call Center Picks up the Phone -
New call center launches operations. With a high quality telephony system equipped with CATI and predictive dialing capabilities, EurekaFacts launched its new research call center. Capacity of up to 100 telephone stations make the center a great resource for both outbound and inbound telephone surveys, customer service tracking studies, and the recruitment of participants for focus groups and in-depth interviews. Field Services Manager Alison Wurzel heads the team of interviewers.

November 2007- EurekaFacts study featured at the MENC Centennial Music Education Conference and MENC publication -
A study conducted for MENC and co-funded by the US department of Education examined the practice of standards-based education in the American music classroom. The quantitative report is being reviewed by a taskforce of national experts in order to consider revisions to the national standards in music education which were initially implemented a decade ago.

August 20th, 2007 - EurekaFacts is on the Move!
Dear EurekaFacts Clients, Providers and Friends: Effective August 27, 2007 EurekaFacts is moving its offices to a new and larger location that features increased capacity for our brand new survey research and participant recruitment call center, focus group facilities and expanded space for our growing analytics team. The new offices are located two blocks north of the Rockville Metro, across the street from the new Rockville Town Center.

July 2007 - 2007 Maryland Hispanic Business Conference The MD Hispanic Business Conference, the premier Hispanic business conference in the state has selected EurekaFacts to  design and implement an intergrated marketing campaign to promote the event. The conference that takes place Oct. 24 at the BWI Marriott Conference Center will bring together more than 400 businesses in the state. Our support includes strategy, direct mail, onlne campaigns, and telephone outreach.

July 2007 - Geodemographic /geomarketing analysis for LIU's Global College The Long Island University school of international education "Friends World Program/Global College" has asked EurekaFacts to complete a a geo-demographic analysis of its students and applicants. Findings will support recruitment efforts and help plan their identification of feeder schools and likely candidates. This is our first higher education program so delivering top quality can be a significant source of referrals among postsecondary schools and the international education community.

June 2007 - And we win the Lottery! We are the winners in the competition for the Maryland Lottery research project. this is a large telephone interviewing effort working with Seattle-based firm Crestwood Associates.
