Senior advanced analytics analyst Hyunchung Kim joins EurekaFacts

Hyunchung Kim joins EurekaFacts as new senior advanced analytics analyst.  Experienced and knowledgeable in the advanced analytical techniques necessary to carry out even the toughest multivariate analysis, and with in-depth knowledge of the microeconomic approaches to provide marketing sciences solutions to our clients, Hyunchung Kim brings great value to EurekaFacts clients. Mr. Kim has conducted multiple segmentation analysis, pricing optimization, six sigma analysis and multiple regression analysis using a wide variety of approaches. Mr. Kim brings experience acquired at the Dell analytics division, the Texas Insurance Company and the University of Texas A&M Marketing department.

Mr. Kim holds three master’s degrees; a Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Texas A&M and Master’s degrees in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Dongguk University in Seoul, Korea.

EurekaFacts Receives Recognition by City of Rockville and Montgomery County

The Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett and the City Mayor of Rockville Susan Hoffmann recognitized Rockville-based EurekaFacts LLC. Representatives from both departments of economic development visited the EurekaFacts offices and presented the certificates of recognition. The event took place April 14, 2008 during the activities celebrating business appreciation week. The EurekaFacts team expressed appreciation for the recognition and looks forward to continuing its expansion through growth in its survey research, advanced analytical and data collection teams.

EurekaFacts CEO Appointed to Committee for Ethnic Affairs

Jorge Restrepo, CEO at EurekaFacts was appointed to serve on the ethnic affairs committee advising the Montgomery County executive office in Montgomery County, Maryland.  The commission provides advise to the county executive on issues ranging from community relations, economic empowerment, minority participation in the political process and other areas. Montgomery County is a highly diverse community where nearly half the population is foreign-born and where slightly more than ome million people from virtually all ethnic backgrounds choose to live.  Mr Restrepo’s nomination by County Executive Ike Legget was confirmend by the County Council April 23, 2008.

EurekaFacts Awarded Contract with the US Department of State

The US Department of State has awarded a one year contract to provide analytical services in the evaluation of an international program to Rockville, based firm EurekaFacts LLC.  The contract, already underway, includes program evaluation, multivariate analysis and data reporting. Four annual renewal options were included in the contract.
