EurekaFacts was featured on the July 23, 2010 Maryland Gazette of Business and Politics with a focus on its rapid growth. The article quotes EurekaFacts CEO Jorge Restrepo. Speaking about business outlook in a tough economy, Jorge Restrepo says “When the economy is tough, people re-evaluate what they buy, from whom the buy and look for ways to get more value for their dollar. If the economy lost 6 percent of its dollars, the other 94 percent is still there. There may be a lot of depressing news, but if you focus on the positive and search for the market opportunities, they are out there. It is a matter of finding out what is important to your customer and how to deliver maximum value.” See the article at http://www.gazette.net/stories/07232010/businew175337_32540.php

In fulfillment of a contract with the US Army Medical Command, EurekaFacts conducted a redesign of a command-wide survey that examines organizational climate. Working closely with leadership and examining best practices and new developments, the new model was further developed using advanced analytical techniques, and direct input from a wide range of civilian and military personnel. It is optimized to equip command leadership with information that helps manage and improve organizational climate on a system-wide basis as well as at various levels of the organization. On 06-Jul-2010, LTG Eric B. Schoomaker, U.S. Army Surgeon General commented very positively on the outcome. To read his blog post visit https://blog.amedd.army.mil/tsg/?page=PostViewSingle&postId=263

There is mounting evidence of shortages of adequate number of physicians in many highly specialized medical fields. To better understand the interests, challenges and career-related intentions of young physicians practicing within a highly specialized medical field, Eureka facts recently completed a study for a major national medical association.
Through a series of In-depth interviews and online surveys with four key audiences segments, including fellows, foreign medical graduates, women, and young practitioners, Eureka Facts provided the association with an in-depth profile of the practice patterns of their youngest membership segment. The study examined issues such as their intentions to stay in the field, expectations regarding compensation and how work-life issues impact young practitioners’ current and future career-related decisions.
Insights on these and other key professional characteristics shared by physicians starting their careers in this highly specialized field provided the association with actionable insights on how to better serve this member group’s current and future professional needs.
