Research Program Account Manager
Overview:
The Research Program Account Manager develops and maintains a successful business portfolio with clients from the government and nonprofit sectors. Duties include identification and capture of contract opportunities with government agencies, as well as the management of research projects and client relationships. Performance is measured by business development success, client satisfaction and service delivery meeting customer needs/expectations, quality, financial and resource usage targets.
Requirements:

Minimum of five years marketing research/survey research experience with business development / customer interfacing responsibilities. Experience working with government or nonprofit research buyers required.

Excellent command of the English language both in writing and orally. Strong writing and editing skills, strong attention to detail and project coordination skills.

Strong quantitative skills and good understanding of statistics is a must. Strong skills in Microsoft office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, SPSS or other analytical software.

Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation, communications and project management skills with proven ability to build, maintain and expand business relationships with clients.

Ability to work in a team environment.

An advanced degree in social science research, communications research, economics, marketing, MBA or a related field is required.
